The Sadar police arrested the popular restaurant Babbu Galaxy manager for rape charges. As per reports, the man who worked at the said place came in touch with the 21-year-old young lady when she was working there as a waiter. He exploited her from December 2018 to September 2019 on the pretext of getting married to him. He also took around 1.24 lakhs from the lady as a loan but later refused to pay her. He also threatened the lady and reported saying that the lady will face problems if she reveals the same about the money.
The lady worked at Babbu’s Galaxy based at Chhaoni opposite MOIL Head Office. She went to the police station to lodge a complaint against the man called Azhar Ali Arman Ali age 24. He lured the lady with a marriage proposal and abused her and even got her savings. Later when she demanded her money back, he threatened him with dire consequences.
The Sadar Police acted on time and then arrested the said man against the charges of 376, 420, 417, 504, and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.
