Just when the city mayor, Mr. Sachin Joshi’s vehicle was attacked on Wardha Road close to the outer ring road in Nagpur by two unidentified men with three bullets, we see lots of hues and cry about the same. Just when the city is having the winter session, the incident taking place on 17th night was unfortunate and talks a lot about the security and safety of people particularly the top functionary of Nagpur.
Considering this situation to be grim, the CM of our state, Mr. Uddhay Thackeray who is in Nagpur for the winter session announced for a quick investigation. He has asked the Nagpur Crime Branch to probe the matter and find out the people who are behind this attack on the city mayor. The state home minister has asked Joshi to submit the numbers where he was getting threats. Earlier Mr. Joshi has been getting threats and he also reported the matter to the police.
But as Mr. Devendra Fadnavis claimed that the police has not taken the threats seriously which has led the attack. Joshi was targetted with the 7.65 MM bullets and the former CM called this to be a serious matter and that the Crime Branch probing the matter should nab the culprit soon and punish them. On the other side, Mr. Joshi the City Mayor when asked to react to this, said he does not fear anyone when it comes to working for the city. Of late, Mr. Joshi has started the encroachment in the city, which has led to this situation.
