Nagpur: The number of coronavirus patients reported on Monday stood at 37, with most districts in the Vidarbha region having randomized testing on Sunday. For the last nearly three days, the number was more than 50.
Out of 37 cases on Monday, 27 have come from Nagpur district alone. These include 20 from Nagpur city (NMC area) and seven from the district (ZP area). Most of the cases were also reported from Nagpur district as a result of random testing and ongoing trials at the airport and railway stations. With this, Washim had reported four new Covid cases, Amravati 2, while Chandrapur, Gadchiroli, Gondia, and Akola have reported 1 each.
In Nagpur too, 1,855 tests have been done in the last 24 hours. Of them, 1,513 were in the city itself, while 342 had been conducted in rural areas. All the three covid patients who were cured on Monday were from Nagpur city. At present 210 covid patients are under treatment in the district.
Out of these, 142 are from Nagpur city and 67 are from Nagpur Rural also. Of them, only five are hospitalized and others are recovering well in home isolation. In the Vidarbha region also 312 covid patients are undergoing treatment and most of them have been kept in home isolation as no district has reported hospitalization at all till now.
Wardha: There is no new covid case or recovery in this district, while the recovery and caseload is stable at 57,162 and 58,129. Eight covid patients are undergoing treatment. On Monday also, 54 test reports have been received and none have been tested positive.
Chandrapur: The coronavirus active figure has remained stagnant at 17, even after Monday’s detection alone and a similar number of discharges.
Amaravati: In the last 24 hours, out of 106 samples tested on Monday, two new covid cases have been reported, taking the caseload to 1,05,986. With no recovery in the district, the number of active covid cases has gone up to ten.
