Fadnavis claims to take oath his weekend despite spat with SS
The sitting CM Devendra Fadnavis now gearing up to take the oath of office for his second term now. As per reports, he is hoping to take oath this Friday despite the tussle between the Shiv Sena. The BJP, however, seems to be hopeful to be joined by the Sena as its main ally in the state assembly getting them without accepting their demand for the 50:50 formula.
As per the BJP sources, the party is hoping that they would soon be joined by the Sena in the government despite being the clash between the two parties. The BJP claims to have the tally to form the government despite the absence of the Shiv Sena. As per them, Fadnavis would take the oath this coming Friday and would then have to prove his majority in the coming assembly to declare the government.
The city politician and the sitting CM claims that he will be leading the state once again and that he will no way accept the 50-50 formula as devised by the Shiv Sena with their grown-up tally. He also expressed his anguish over the constant targetting of Sena Mouthpiece – Saamna claiming that this would derail the talks between the two parties. Talking to the media, he claimed that it will be BJP government in the state and that he would remain the CM for the next five years once again. On the other side, Sena senior politician Sanjay Raut claims that NCP would never go with the BJP hence it would be difficult for the saffron party to form a government.
