As the city has gained good rains in the recent past week, we now hear similar news coming from the India Meteorological Department that claims to have similar rains in the coming days. As per the Nagpur Live reports, the region Vidarbha is expecting heavy rains between 19th August to 21st August. As per the officials of the India Meteorological Department, the entire region is expected to get heavy rains, thus the department has issued high alert in the region.
For the next two days one can expect a yellow alert in the city till 21st August. The heavy rainfall is expected till 21st August, while rest of the days would have usual rainfall like what we have seen in the earlier years, claimed the officials. All thanks to the winds flowing from the Gangetic West Bengal to other places like Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh. The state will have Vidarbha, and Gujarat to be disturbed in the coming few days.
As per reports, the flooding rains are expected to go up 150 mm in the 24 hours with the strong winds expected to be moving on 20 and 21st of August. With good rain in the city, the month of July has witnessed a deficiency of 10%, and similar was the story in June as well.
