Labors Taking Long Distance Walk Amidst the COVID 19 Crisis
Ever since the lockdown was announced, we see the complete shutdown of trains, buses and other transport in the state. Now, we see the daily workers and laborers who have come to Nagpur in search of employment are returning home taking long march in groups. As per reports, they are mostly based in the MIDC area taking the route of Wardha Road to return home while they are seen moving over the flyover. Most of them are heading to their homes based in Seoni and other districts of MP.
Ever since the lockdown was announced due to the COVID-19 outbreak. They took the time to return home and now have no option but to take up the path on their own by walking back to the hometowns and villages. Many are seen walking in small groups to their homes, A majority of the labors are engaged in the construction sector in the city and they have come to Butibori from the states of MP and Chattisgarh and are seen returning.
And we now see them walking from the areas like Hingna and Butibori Industrial areas and some of the construction sites within the city towards Kamptee. Hence they can cross the interstate border by entering Seoni and other areas and are then seen proceeding the areas of Balaghat. Even people of Kamptee, Kanhan, Bhandara and Gondia are seen taking up the walking plaza back to their homes. Stay tuned to know more about it and others only with us.
