Lockdown 3 in Nagpur: What’s Closed and What is Open?
As the cases for the virus continue to increase in the state, and other parts of the country, the lockdown has reached the third stage now. It will last till 18th May, as the Prime Minister took the decision after talking to the chief ministers of the various states. Since the situation in the state has further extended the duration of the lockdown thus taking things in the worst way.
So, as we enter into the third lockdown, we see a long list of things that would remain open and closed. The restriction and relaxation would depend upon the category of the colour we fall. Since Nagpur falls under the Red Zone, we see limited things in the city and the vicinity area would be allowed for obvious reasons. The following are the activities that would be allowed:
Agricultural activities in the vicinity area would be allowed which include sowing, procurement and harvesting of crops.
Animal Husbandry activities are completely allowed which include marine and inland fisheries.
Banks, non banking finance companies, women and widows working in anganwadi
Power, sanitation, water, telecommunication and internet would be allowed to function
Postal and courier services
Thus with limited number of shops and outlets remaining open, the lockdown continues and it is likely to stay with further strict restrictions in the movement in the city. This will help in reducing the spread of the virus in the city. Stay tuned to know more about it and others only with us. If you have anything to share, do comment below and let us know.
