Nagpur: The Maharashtra Airport Development Company (MADC) has taken two plots of four acres each on lease in the Mihan project, which has earned a total of Rs 43 crore. And the plots have already been leased out to two builders close to the city for construction of high-end flats. This has been done through an e-tender.
Deepak Kapoor, Vice-Chairman-cum-Managing Director (VCMD) of MADC has also announced this through a tweet.
Apart from MIHAN-SEZ, MADC is also developing a Domestic Tariff Area (DTA) which also has residential complexes. Mihan already has around three prime residential complexes in the DTA.
M/s Om Shiv Buildcon and M/s Anjani Krupa are also the two realty companies who have made the highest bids for the same deal. Who have bid at the rate of Rs 14,551 and Rs 13,044 per square meter respectively. And this gave MADC about Rs 43 crore for the whole deal. This is the second plot that Anjani Krupa has acquired through bidding.
There were around five bidders for one of the land parcels and three for the other purported sources. Speaking to TOI, Narendhra Jichkar of Anjani Krupa said that as per the mandate of MADC, his company will come up with a commercial-cum-residential complex. ”
Development of properties in MIHAN area could go a long way
Anjani Krupa had already taken a plot in MADC and it would be beneficial to take another plot,” He said that the number of bidders was more in the current round as compared to the earlier plot tenders. Narendhra Jichkar said that the plot is located close to Khapri Metro station.
Sources in the real estate sector have said that the development of properties in MIHAN area could go a long way in bringing affordable options to buyers as compared to city rates.
