As the Prime Minister, Mr. Modi addressed the nation yesterday, he had some major announcements to make. The fourth lockdown would, however, come into effect from 18th May and will continue till the last week of this month. The lockdown has been extended till 24th May now while the third lockdown would open by the end of 17th May. The PM also announced a huge 20 lakhs crores economic package for the fight against the pandemic, which has caused too many issues.
In his 30 minutes address to the Nation, the PM said how the world has been combating the virus for the past four months that has affected millions of people across the globe. He said the virus has made the fight between life and death and no one has seen such a crisis before hence the fight should be given the best till things turn normal and the virus comes under control.
He also announced a special economic package worth Rs 20 lakh crore which is around ten percent of the country’s GDP thus giving the boost to independent India. The package is going to help people from different sectors related to land, laborer, liquidity, and law. This package is going to help the members of different sectors. The Finance Minister is going to offer detailed information about the economic package soon. He also announced about making 2 lakh PPE Kits for the health warriors who are fighting against the coronavirus. Stay tuned to know more about the other details on it only with us.
