Section 144 in Nagpur for Coronavirus Outbreak
With more than five cases of Coronavirus being tested positive in Nagpur, more and more preventive measurements have been taken in the city. Nagpur being the part of the state that is reported to have a maximum number of cases for the fatal virus, we see the civic body and others taking the right action at the right time. In the wake of the virus, the authorities in the city have thought of imposing Section 144 preventing four people to collect in public areas.
This has been imposed on 17th March as a precautionary measure. This was informed by the Joint Commissioners – Ravindra Kadam of Nagpur police to announce the same. The 144 Section has been imposed from March 17th to March 31st in the city for the obvious reason. The Nagpur Police have now issued the notice to all the concerned departments about the same including the press allowing them to know about the update.
With this update, not more than four people would be allowed to collect at any public place. With these things would go under control in the wake of the virus which seems to spread with more and more people meeting at the local and public places. The theatres, the schools, colleges and other premises seemed to be locked down for the very reason.
