It is a sad state of affair that a study center of YCMOU based Kamptee Road was seen deserted allowing it to become a tapri for people to pass time and do nothing worthy thing. Educational centers that are regarded as the temple of learning and where goddess Saraswati dwells have to end up becoming a pan shop for not getting enough response. As per reports, the Study Center of Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University (YCMOU) based at Kamptee Road has turned into a tapri and kharra store.
The study centres of the YCMOU carries out different courses like ITI, Polytechnic and Engineering College courses along with having Al Siddique English medium school as well, which has now become the addas of kharra and tea. The owners of this place are least bothered to answer anything about education and more busy making trivial money at the cost of education of our coming generation. In a sense, it is an illegal kharra or tapri.
The owners of this place include Tahseen who has ownership of the said study center. She has the permission to run courses like BA, while he happens to an Urdu professor as well. She along with her partners has been running other similar institutes as well including the Rahul Gandhi National and International Group of Institutions, Rahul Gandhi College of Arts, Commerce, Science & Management and Rahul Gandhi College of Journalism and Mass Communication. It is ironic and unfortuante to see such things happening at the abodes of education.
