The rise in the crime in City has become a growing concern for the police and the citizens of Nagpur. In a recent incident, a girl student of 14 years from Bishop Cotton School in Nagpur has been abducted by an unidentified person since yesterday at 3.30 pm from the school premises. Similar incident has taken place in the Kotwali area of the city as well. The 15-year-old girl has gone for the tuition in the Kotwali area when she did not return raising alarm at her place to report the matter to the police.
Talking about the first incident, the 14-year-old student has been missing since the last two days between 3.30 pm to 7.00 pm. Her family has searched everywhere including her friends’ place and other places as well but she was not located by them allowing them to knock the doors of the police station. The case has been registered at the police station. The case was registered under section 363 of the Indian Penal Code.
The officials are now considering it to be a case of kidnap and is waiting for their next move to nab the culprits. Talking about the second case, the girl has gone for the tuition in the morning at 10 am but did not return till late afternoon that led her parents to search at her friends’ place but could not find her. The parents then lodged a complaint that was again registered under section 363 of the IPC. The Kotwali Police has now started the investigation.
