2 suspected thieves sought bail before arrest

Out of these, about five cases, including theft, are registered against one woman in Wardha and Nagpur.

Nagpur: Two women on suspicion of theft have approached the court for pre-arrest bail after police interrogated them in their locality near Kharbi earlier this month. And the court, after granting ad-interim relief, is all set to hear his plea for now. Beltarodi’s police is gearing up to oppose his pre-arrest bail plea.

Out of these, about five cases, including theft, are registered against one woman in Wardha and Nagpur. And the crime record of the other woman is yet to be found at all. A constable of Beltarodi police station has said that earlier, they had only doubts based on the CCTV footage. Now they are more or less sure that these women were behind this theft. Because they want to avoid interrogation now and these women also want to avoid arrest.

These two women were caught on CCTV cameras in a jewelery shop under suspicious circumstances, From where gold ornaments worth about Rs 60,000 were stolen in the first week of the month of February. And this case has also been registered at Beltarodi police station.

Police sources have also said that there is a group of around three to four women who posing as customers and run away with gold ornaments shown to them.

After getting clues from CCTV footage, senior inspector of Beltarodi police Chandrakant Yadav has started investigation on this matter. Shortly after the police reached Kharbi, the court’s notice reached them to ‘speak’ on the pre-arrest bail plea.

Meanwhile, in Beltarodi’s police team, Prashant Sonulkar, Randhir Dixit, sub-inspector Avinash Karad, head constables Tejram Deole, Avinash Thakre and others have arrested a woman from Ajni along with her aide Nitin Meshram. And both of them are part of this gang, Including three more women, Who stole very valuable belongings of a senior citizen from the bus. Meshram also rents a car.
