It was a very low profile buzz for Jaiprakash Nagar station as the Maha Metro started working from its station. the commuters on Wednesday started getting the option of boarding the station to Sitabuldi and way ahead to the next stations. Earlier, the station seemed stranded for the said location, and commuters of this station had to struggle to check other options and ways for it.
Earlier the metro working between Sitabuldi and Airport used to run non-stop without even caring to consider the commuters of this place. Now, with the station getting operational, the commuters of this location can start opting for the metro and get to the said locations towards Airport and the other direction. As per the officials, the trains first started halting at the said station once the tribal children from the Gadchiroli were seen catching the train and they welcomed it by clapping with their hands.
As per reports, the station is located in the residential areas of Jayaprakash Nagar which has a number of people living along with having many commercial complexes as well. It will be a boon for the people claimed the officials. When asked as to why the opening of this station was kept a low profile in the news, the official said that they simply wanted to avoid any controversy. The charges of tickets from the said station to Aiport and Kharbi has been added there which include 10 and 20 respectively. Stay tuned to know more about it and others only with us.
