Nagpurians Face Severe Heat Amid the Lockdown
With the lockdown extending till 31st May, we see the Nagpurians struggling with unbearable heat. All thanks to the scorching heat that continues to give the people a tough time as one can see the temperature of Nagpur remaining more than 41 in the daytime. As per reports, the maximum temperature yesterday was recorded to around 41.7 degrees celsius in the city despite getting some unseasonal showers, which have been witnessed in Nagpur and other parts of the region.
As per the recent reports of Regional Meteorological Center, Akola has emerged as the hottest place in the region with a maximum temperature of 43.8 degrees Celsius while Nagpur remained the second hottest place in the region. As per reports, the RMC has faced scorching conditions and is being observed in the last few days. In the meanwhile, with some unseasonal rainfall and gusty winds failing to offer any relief to the citizens.
The crippling heat waves, water scarcity and drought is often seen gripping India during the summer months in the city that goes during May and June. The authorities on a regular basis have been issuing advisories on how to keep cool by having enough drinking water during the day and finding shady spots and using fans.
