City Zoo at Gorewada to have the Indian Safari Soon
We have been hearing a lot about the Gorwada Zoo coming up with the Indian Safari. However, all we saw as a premature kind of facility by the zoo for the same despite having based in a huge area and have all the potential to showcase the best of the Safari to the people of Nagpur. Now, the people of the city have big news as the Gorewada Zoo near Katol Road Nagpur is gearing up for its future project called Indian Safari.
As per reports, the visitor will be visiting the Indian Safari soon once the dates for its operation gets the nod from the authorities. The dates are yet to be announced for Safari as things are not clear. However, as per the insiders, the Zoo is likely to open the visit from March. And the central Zoo seems to have given permission to release two tigers in the safari area along with 7 leopards, 15 blue bulls and 6 bears in the huge encloser of Gorewada.
As per reports, the wild cats and other animals are healthy enough to be treated like that in the Wildlife Gorewada Rescue Centre. The reports also suggest that the preparations are now being made to send these animals to the Gorewada zoo, which seems to be coming close to its completion. In order to protect the forests, the Government has stepped up to take a few key decisions, which include establishing an international standard zoo and biopark in the said location.
