Creativity Attracts The Crowd At Nagpur City Craft Mela
The South Central Zone Cultural Centre is witnessing a large crowd since few days and is being the centre of attraction. Before you run your mind too much, know that the reason for this is the ongoing 27th Orange City Craft Mela. The exhibition is definitely a must-visit for all. The creativity is attracting the crowd of Nagpur at large and people are loving the various artifacts displayed over there for getting sold out
May that be pottery, furniture or handloom products; almost everything is available over there for sale. The Craft Mela has a large variety of products to offer including terracotta, khurja, carpets and papermeshi. The women are getting attracted towards the jewellery, Chanderi sarees, Paithani Sarees and Banarasi Sarees. Footwear too is not left behind and they have Punjabi jooti to offer. Artworks include metal craft, wooden craft, jute craft, glass art and zari work. The famous Phulkari is also displayed. Bell metal, khadi, leather puppet and other handicraft material is also displayed at the exhibition. With so many things there, one has surely got a lot of choices to buy things from.
For the people who get food-craving every single hour, be informed that there’s a good counter too. Yes, you heard it right! The venue has many food stalls with mouth-watering snacks and dishes to pacify your hungry stomach. There are some appetizers too! The Craft Mela would continue till the coming Sunday, i.e. 19th January, 2020. The timings for the exhibition are from 2pm to 6pm and the entry charges for the same is Rs 25 per person.
