Deceased Pornima used to come repeatedly to Bramhapuri JMFC Court
On getting the information, the police also reached the spot and took the dead body for postmortem only after preliminary investigation. Police sources have also told that the deceased was a resident of Koregaon (Chop) village in Desaiganj taluka of neighboring Gadchiroli district. And her marriage was arranged about one and a half years ago with a class IV employee of her village working in JMFC court in Bramhapuri.
Both of them were not officially engaged, but both were ready to get married and had also performed the ritual of Kumkum. However, the talk of marriage between their families had ended for some time.
Deceased Pornima used to come repeatedly to Bramhapuri JMFC Court to meet him as a groom and follow him for marriage. And other court officials were also well aware of the refusal on the part of the groom and Pornium’s insistence on the marriage.
“SDPO, Bramhapuri, Milind Shende confirmed the status between the deceased and the would-be groom and speculated that Pormina might have committed suicide due to depression due to repeated refusals for the marriage. The Bramhapuri police is probing the matter,” He added.
