KKM-3 ‘Cyclothon’ in City on Jan 12

The month of January has always remained the most happening for the people in the city. Come 12th Jan and we have the Vidarbha-level Cyclothon, which has been organized as a part of Khasdar Krida Mahotsav. The said event will be witnessed on the 12th of January sharp at 6 a.m. at Deekshabhoomi square. As per reports, the event is expected to get an overwhelming response in the city.
As per Devyani Joshi, the leading lady of the organizing committee claimed that they are expecting more than 3000 cyclists to participate in the event. The event will have the total prize money worth Rs 1.96 lakh for the winners and other categories. The prizes would be given to the first five winners in each category along with giving the attractive cash prizes along with giving away the consolation prizes as well in each section. The participants in the event would get the finisher medals as well.
While talking more on it, she said the cycling competition has been worked out in four different categories including the following:

Under 18 boys and girls for 11 km
Under-15 boys and girls for 8 km
Under-12 boys and girls for 5 km

And the fun race for 3 km, which is open for all
For participating in the event, there will be an entry fee of 50 Rs for all the categories confirmed the organizers, while the forms for participation can be obtained from KKM offices located at the MLA Krishna Khopde’s office, Vivekanand Nagar sports complex, Aai Foundation office Reshimbagh, Purti Laxmi Nagar Gokulpeth Market, KKM office at Sitabuldi and Mangalam Model mill. The last day for submission on 10th January.
