The civic body in Nagpur – NMC has now issued again a tender asking 30 Electric buses along with the stuff related to charging infrastructure. This has come the second time when NMC has issued a tender for the same asking it from the manufacturers and suppliers of electric buses along with asking for the spaces for carrying out the preventive and breakdown maintenance of buses for its smooth operation in city.
Nagpur Municipal Corporation is on the verge of developing a Charging infrastructure as well that would include Development, Supply and Erection of Transformers along with the required Necessary Electrical systems, sub-systems, and accessories that would be needed to create charging Infrastructure. It will offer the buses the battery charging points along with getting the proper servicing and maintenance as well. The civil infrastructure will also be provided to the buses for their breakdowns thing.
As per reports, the last date to bid for the same will start from 21st Jan 2019, which will be opened till 22nd Jan. People bidding for the same will have to deposit the amount of Rs 29.88 lakh for the bid. Once the group is chosen, it will be offered the demand incentives under the FAME-II by the NMC. However, the bidder will be responsible to meet all the criteria to get the incentives as per the scheme.
