The Nagpur–Mitsubishi Electric is known to offer pioneering technology and innovation to the city by making some positive contributions towards the society. The recently launched campaign of Mitsubishi Electric called Environmental Sustainability Vision 2050 has many programs for the city. The company is known to offer services like the Environmental Cleaning technologies to make check and protect the air, land and water to enable a better future for one and all.
Mitsubishi Electric India with its CSR activity has organised a tree plantation drive in Nagpur at the Beltarodi Road. And we see Nagpur among the growing cities of Nagpur and has managed to regain its first position for being the Smart City Mission as the “Nagpur Smart”. The city has witnessed a number of drives like the greenest and cleanest cities in India. Mitsubishi Electric India has considered a small initiatives and efforts to support Nagpur in developing and maintaining its green cover.
It was in Tuesday when we witnessed seven employees from the Company along with 10 NGO volunteers who were seen planting more than 200 trees at the said areas of Besa and Beltarodi. The city witnessed the tree plantation of a wide range of evergreen trees like the copper Pod tress, Karanj tree, Kadam tree, Neem Tree, Cassia Tower and Rain tree to name a few. The company has been working in a number of CSR initiatives falling into different categories like Skill Development, Climate Action and Community Development.
