NMC has decided to provid free Aapli Bus ride for senior citizens on Friday, October 1

Nagpur: In a goodwill gesture, the (NMC) Nagpur Municipal Corporation has taken the decision to provide absolutely free Aapli bus rides for senior citizens on Friday, 1st October. And moreover, India will also provide ‘Nagpur’ absolutely free of cost, to celebrate the 75th year of the India independence.

(NMC) Nagpur Municipal Corporation. Darshan travels for them in aapli bus and Mayor Dayashankar Tiwari has said that on 1st October every (NMC) one buses will be deployed in Nagpur Municipal Corporation zone.

All these activities are a very good part of a series of events organized by Nagpur Municipal Corporation with the help of Nagpur Municipal Corporation to mark the World Senior Citizen Day on 1st October.

These programs of this day will be started with “Suryanamaskar Competition” inside Chhatrapati Shivaji Park, Ramnagar at around 7 in the morning.

Musical programmes senior citizens at 3.30 pm

And then after this the poets of Suresh Bhat Auditorium Raghuji Nagar will do a Musical concert for senior citizens at around 3.30 pm.

Mayor Dayashankar Tiwari has also said that another mega felicitation program of about 75 senior citizens who have excelled in different fields including 36 freedom fighters, social activists, retired officers and medical professionals will be held in the same auditorium in the evening hours. Will start around 5 pm.

(NMC) Nagpur Municipal Corporation will also organize a health check-up camp for all senior citizens in 10 different clinics out of around 10 zones.

And then Mayor Dayashankar Tiwari has said that all the patients with the problem of cataract disease will be operated absolutely free of cost inside the Mahatme Eye Hospital.

He has also said that free medicines will be made available to all the people suffering from the diabetes and high blood pressure for the whole life.
