Army Postal Service introduced ‘My Special Stamp’ on the occasion of National Postal Week
All the students also witnessed a mega display of commemorative stamps, postal items, scented stamps on Dr. BR Ambedkar and Mahatma Gandhi, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam.
Nagpur: National Postal week occasion, ‘My Special Stamp’ presented by Army Postal Service to Prahar Samaj Jagriti Sanstha (PSJS) to honor the great work of the organization.
The program was initiated by Wing Commander Col Vinod Kumar of APS, Kempty from his speech. In his inaugural address, Colonel Vinod Kumar had told about the importance of every kind of postage stamp.
Chief Guest of the Program
The chief guest journalist of the program, whose name is Kartik Lokhande, In which the president of PSJS named Shama Deshpande, Chandrakant Deo, Lt Col Anirudha Deshpande (Retd), Flight Lieutenant Shiwalee Deshpande (Retd) and students of the Prahar Defense Academy were also present. Prahar Sanstha has worked towards inculcating military qualities in all the youth for almost 27 years. It has also prepared more than 300 officers for defense forces.
Every single student had also witnessed the mega display of commemorative stamps, postal items, scented stamps on Dr. BR Ambedkar and Mahatma Gandhi, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. And also watched a short video showcasing each and every major importance of postal services. And how it has brought the whole world and its people closer together.
Kartik Lokhande has said that the special postage stamp is a milestone for Prahar. Karthik also reiterated the benefits of the postal service which is still relevant in the modern world today. Lokhande laid more emphasis on the writing of the letter. Because it strengthens the rich Indian culture among all the younger generations.
Prahar had also expressed his gratitude to Colonel Vinod for playing the most important role in the historic event of Prahar. And also expressed my heartfelt gratitude to each and every dignitary and individuals for being a part of organizing this memorable event. Shivali Deshpande also threw light on all the activities of this attack and presented a memento to Colonel Vinod Kumar.
