“Part of the face, half of both the forelimbs, and a whole hind leg had been detached from the main body, and the abdomen was torn apart, taking out the intestine and other parts. Along with this, Dr. Kundan Podchalwar, in charge of the Transit Treatment Center, has done the postmortem on the spot and confirmed the death due to being hit by the train.” The account said.

Committee of the Forest Department was formed to prevent such wildlife accidents

The activist has also claimed that in the month of June, an Indian gaur had died after being hit by a very high-speed train at the same place. A committee of the Forest Department was also formed to prevent such wildlife accidents. And it recommended a lot of mitigation measures, including reducing the speed of trains while passing through the forest. However, the Railway Department did not pay any heed to the suggestions of the Forest Department and wild animals are also dying in this section.
