Body in dicky: Male, female accomplices arrested

A highly mutilated body of an unidentified naked man was found in the boot of a car on the date of 15 April.

Nagpur: Nearly five days after the mutilated body of a deceased person was found in the boot of a very old and worn out car, the police have now arrested two persons – Mohammed Shafi aka Nasir Sheikh (25, a resident of Mominpura) and his accomplice Nasrin Sheikh alias Ranjana Kale.

A highly mutilated body of an unidentified naked man was found in the boot of a car on the date of 15 April. The Special Officers of Zone-III had already identified the deceased as Kartik Selokar of Kalamna resident with the help of a tattoo on the body of the deceased.

The police have also said that Selokar was mentally disturbed and had been admitted to the Indira Gandhi Government Medical College and Hospital on the date of April 11. Then the very next day the person had fled from there and his aunt had lodged a missing complaint at the Tehsil police station.

Caught in an objectionable position

During this investigation, it has come to the fore that Selokar was attacked from behind with an iron rod, due to which he died.

On suspicion of wrongdoing in this case, the police officers have arrested Nasir Sheikh and a woman living in a deserted railway quarter. Which was right in front of the junk shop where the dead body was found in a car.

Then during interrogation, Shafi spews sari beans and has confessed to killing the man.

Along with this, he told Selokar, the woman with whom he was living, He was caught in an objectionable position with him and then in anger, he attacked the person with an iron rod. Later, both of them threw the body in the boot of the car and then fled from there.

Nasir Sheikh and Shafi have been arrested under sections 201, 302, and 34 of the IPC.
