As the lockdown continues in the state, we see the schools and colleges taking up classes online. With the shutdown of schools, the educational institutes are taking resort on conducting various online sessions with internet-based platforms like Zoom and Hangouts. As per the recent buzz, an online workshop was organised on Study Skills and Career Counseling as organised for 19th Students along with the teachers by Mundle English School of The Blind Relief Association Nagpur
The workshop was organised on 25th May 2020. Dr. Jaya Shiwalkar, (MBBS & Child psychologist) was called out as a resource person to conduct the session. She guided the students to focus on various issues including key topics like time management, skill sets, interests, opportunities, and efforts along with staying away from electronic gadgets & devices. It also deals with focusing on studies and carrying out proper exercises.
The online workshop proved out to be effective for the students and parents who took the opportunity to upgrade themselves by getting the study skills and thus adding clarity and vision to choose the right career. The online workshop was chaired by Mr. Makarand Pandharipande the chairperson of the trust, along with the school Principal, Rupali Hinge, and Head Mistress Primary, Megha Padhye. The students and parents attending the online session did have a good time.
