AAP members oppose Centre’s Delhi Ordinance

Nagpur: As part of its nationwide campaign on Sunday, members of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) took out a rally in Nagpur to protest against the anti-democratic steps of the central government. And also let us tell you that the party members gathered in very large numbers at the Samvidhan Chowk on Sunday morning. Where senior party leaders like Devendra Wankhede and Jagjit Singh have also talked about the reason for his rally.

AAP’s Vidarbha convenor Devendra Wankhede also said, “About eight years ago, the central government issued a notification and took over the Delhi government’s power to make appointments and transfers of officers. The matter went to the Supreme Court which ruled in favor of the Delhi government. But the central government again took over the powers (of transfer and appointment of officers) by issuing an ordinance on the very day the court’s vacation began. This act in itself is killing the democratic values ​​in our country.

The AAP also currently has 62 MLAs in the Delhi state assembly with around 70 seats. Senior Aam Aadmi Party leader Jagjit Singh said, Although AAP has been elected democratically, but the central government is interfering in its functioning through the Governor.
